Joining a new membership can feel overwhelming, especially one with a lot of content. We've thought carefully about how to make sure you don't get inside and immediately feel lost. Just so you know what to expect - here's a preview of our process.

Your questionnaire
Everyone who joins is at a different stage of their journey. So before anything else, we ask you to fill out a short questionnaire. Your answers help us understand exactly where you're at - and make sure the resources, guidance and emails you receive from day one are relevant to you, not generic.

Your personal welcome video
After you complete your questionnaire, you'll receive an email with a short video message from us. Not an automated sequence, an actual personal hello from Charlotte or Craig so you can meet us (on Zoom) in person and we can guide you the best places in the membership to address your biggest challenges.

Your Discovery Call
As a new member, you have the option to book a complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call with either Charlotte or Craig in your first month. We'll discuss where you're at, what you're struggling with and what you want to achieve - then point you toward exactly the right resources to start with.

Unleashed Edits are curated edit-along tutorials where Charlotte or Craig take a RAW file from start to finish in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz, sharing every decision along the way. With 38 tutorials across Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced levels, you'll find edits that match where you are now and plenty that will stretch you further.
Editing Toolbox videos comprise a vast library of short, focused tips and workflow hacks covering everything from masking and colour correction to removing distractions, dealing with tricky fur colours, and getting the most out of your software. Over 90 videos, all organised by skill level so you can find exactly what you need, when you need it.

Every month, Premium Members are invited to a range of live calls with Charlotte, Craig and teaching assistant (and beginner specialist) Fiona.
These include Photo Lab sessions where you can submit your own RAW files for us to edit or provide constructive feedback on, Live Edit sessions where you watch Charlotte or Craig edit one of their own images from start to finish in real time, and our Lounge calls which cover a rotating mix of topics from shooting and editing to mindset and the business of pet photography.
All calls are recorded, so if you can't make it live you can always watch the replay, complete with closed captions and timecodes so you can skip to what interests you most.

Our community is where the membership really comes to life. It's a place to share your work, ask questions, get constructive feedback on your images, work through shooting or editing problems, and connect with other pet photographers who genuinely get it.
Each month there's a new Edit My Photo challenge where members edit a RAW file we provide and submit for a chance to win a 20-minute call with Charlotte or Craig.

Meet your teachers
Charlotte Reeves is an award-winning Brisbane-based professional dog photographer and Australia's most respected pet photography educator. Known in the industry as the Queen of Backlight for her signature style featuring dogs in natural light outdoors, Charlotte has been teaching photographers around the world since 2013. She has a gift for simplifying complex concepts and making the technical side of photography feel genuinely accessible. Charlotte was recently named NZIPP 2026 Australian Professional Animal Photographer of the Year, her second consecutive win in the category.
Craig Turner-Bullock is a Christchurch-based professional pet photographer who has been shooting dogs professionally since 2001. Where Charlotte brings the technical precision, Craig brings the creative energy, known for his colourful, story-driven images and his ability to inspire photographers to push their work in new directions. A Double Grand Master within the NZIPP, Craig was recently named NZIPP 2026 New Zealand Professional Animal Photographer of the Year.
Together they co-founded Unleashed Education in 2021. Between them they have over four decades of combined experience in pet photography and teaching, and a shared belief that the best education helps you discover your own unique style.
