Editing Toolbox: Setting White Balance with One Click in LightroomFeb 10, 2023
By Charlotte Reeves
Setting correct white balance is one of those editing sticking points that I see so many pet photographers - well - stuck on! As pet photographers, we deal with lots of different coloured subjects, so we need as many tools as we can to help us set white balance. In this video I share one of my favourite tools in Lightroom that you can use if your subject has some white fur receiving clean light - the White Balance Selector.
However - there are a few things to take into account! Like - where's the best place on the image to click? 🤷🏻♀️
For images where it's not possible to use the White Balance Selector, check out my blog post - 10 Tips for Setting Perfect White Balance. There's plenty more ideas to try and tools you can use to help you set white balance while you're still developing your eye for it, or on a particularly tricky edit.
