Winter Wonderland Creation in Photoshop - Speed Edit

speed edits Aug 15, 2014

At the annual Mally Muster fundraising event for Brisbane rescue group Shamroq (Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute Rescue of Queensland), myself and fellow Brisbane pet photographer Kelly from Hairypants Photography ran a "Winter Wonderland" themed photo booth.

We used a backdrop of snowy trees and a base of pine needles to create a winter feel, then in the editing process cooled the background further and ran the free "Let it Snow" Photoshop action from Florabella over the image a few times to create some snowy layers.

Each image was also edited for colour cast correction, leash removal, shadow and highlight fix ups, colour and contrast boosting and eye enhancement.

I created this 4x speed demo to give an insight into how much work went into each and every one of these photos.

All money raised from photo sales was donated directly to Shamroq.
