For the final challenge in this round, we wanted to see images that are a real celebration so it was time to par-tay! Capturing dogs at play, living their best lives and having a blast.

We wanted to see great action and expressions and boy did everyone deliver. At the risk of sounding like broken records, we really did find this the most difficult challenge to judge!

Blue Amrich | Beyond The Fence

This image is so beautifully lit, the colours of the trees in the background are in harmony with the fur colours. The ball and the dog, fully in the air and super sharp make this a perfect Party Time shot.

This is just sheer joy of puppies at play. The expressions, the folded back ear, the paw on the nose and the little bit of leaf hanging from the left puppies mouth all make this a priceless and humourous moment.

This is a wonderful wide-angel perspective. The composition perfectly placing the tug toy on the corner leading you into the dog enjoying the game.

These two are having a great time and have been captured at just the right moment as they get to the peak of a rise in the dirt and eyeball each other for the toy. The focus fall-off from the rise to a smooth wonderfully toned backdrop is lovely. Then there are the hills in the distance which almost mimic the shape created by the dogs.

This dog is serious about having fun! The intensity is enhanced by the textures ans tones.

This is the perfect moment, mouth gaping open before this dog catches that toy. The tight crop really leaves no room to look away from that decisive moment of play.

Who doesn't know a dog who needs to be brided to drop one toy with another? This is such a great depiction of that dog who must have all the toys. The body position and framing are excellent and this perfectly meets the Party Time brief.

What is a party without balloons? This one fills the space of the sky really nicely adding interest to an area that would be a distracting empty space otherwise. Great energy and motion on the dog too.

This is such a unique perspective of a dog at play. The details in the splash are great and the dog is so sharp, which is not easy to achieve when in the water.
