Welcome to Grid Games! 🎉 

We’ve put this standalone pet photography challenge together to give newcomers a proper taste of what the full 6-month, 12-challenge Unleashed Challenge courses are like.

If you've previously participated in our Unleashed Challenge courses, you'll already know how much fun these are!

⚙️ How it works 

This free challenge runs just like the individual shooting challenges in our Unleashed Challenge courses – same structure, same format, same level of fun.

When the challenge officially kicks off, you will have access to the challenge brief and full 25-minute instructional video to help guide your shot.

You have two weeks to plan, shoot, edit and submit your image. The final deadline for submissions is Friday 17 April (4pm EDT) – keep an eye on the countdown timer above after the challenge begins.

Once the deadline hits, we’ll be donning our judging hats and reviewing all your entries. We'll review every single entry, let you know if you met the brief, and provide some constructive feedback on the shooting and editing. We’ll narrow entries down to a Top 20, then select our Top 10.

There'll be a feedback video for each tier, and they will both be posted right here in the community. We highly recommend watching them all the way through (not just your own image) – they will be packed full of juicy tips and insights for everyone from Charlotte and Craig – previous challengers have said this is the most valuable part of the process!

🏆 What you could win

We are running the challenge in two tiers, so your image will be automatically judged against only those in your tier.

✨ Newcomers

You've never participated in Embark, even if you're already enrolled in Embark 2026. If you make the Top 10, you’ll score a $100 discount (or refund) on Embark 2026.

🎩 Veterans

You’ve previously participated in Embark. Top 10 entries will receive a $50 voucher to spend in our Merch Store.
