Would you like to have professional photos of your dog created by some of the world’s top pet photographers...

absolutely free?

Our London Unleashed Workshop is a two-day dog photography event hosted by internationally award-winning pet photographers Charlotte Reeves (Charlotte Reeves Photography) and Craig Turner-Bullock (Furtography) to be held in central London on Friday 9th - Saturday 10th October 2026.

Important Basic Requirements:

  • Your dog is over 6 months old
  • Your dog is not aggressive towards people or other dogs
  • Your dog is not stressed by busy urban locations with traffic, loud noises and crowds
  • Your dog is not nervous being around unfamiliar people and other dogs

Basically, to keep our dog models happy and willing to be photographed, we need to make sure they are confident in city environments. If you aren't sure, it's best not to apply and then find out they aren't on the day!

Photo Shoot Details

During the two day workshop, we will be holding two photography sessions - one focused on portraits of dogs with some use of lighting, and one focused on capturing dogs with their owners.

We have tentatively decided on two locations - Canary Wharf and the Queens Walk / Tower Bridge area. When we arrive in London, we will be doing our final location scout to determine the best final location for each session. Please note that while we may need to choose a different location than the two possibilities above, we will ensure they are still easily accessible from Central London.

If you apply and are accepted, we will be in touch as soon as we can during the week prior to the workshop, to confirm the final location.

We appreciate your flexibility!

Session 1 - Canine Portrait with Lighting

In this session, we'll be focusing on capturing posed portraits of dogs in urban environments. As the light starts to fade, we'll begin using off-camera flash and continuous lighting to provide extra light.

Special Requirements

In addition to the Basic Requirements in the section above, dogs must:

  • Have a good level of obedience and a reliable stay command (preferably a sit, down and as a bonus: stand)
  • Not be fazed by busy environments, traffic, crowds of people and potentially other dogs
  • Not be reactive or made anxious by bright and/or flashing lights
  • Have a good working relationship with you as their owner - you'll be helping us pose and work with your dog during the session

Friday 9 October

4:00pm - 7:00pm

This session will take place in Central London (location to be confirmed).

Session 2 - Dog and Owner

In this session, we'll be focusing on capturing the relationship with dogs and their owners. We will do this through a variety of different shot types, ranging from posed portraits together, to walking shots.

Special Requirements

In addition to the Basic Requirements in the section above, dogs chosen for this shoot should be comfortable with close contact with their owners - specifically - we are looking for very cuddly personalities for this session!

Importantly, the dog must volunteer interaction and be okay with sustained close contact. They should not have to be physically restrained or held in place with force when patted, hugged or held.

You also must be fine with being photographed yourself, and sign a model release so that the photographers may use photos of you for non-commercial reasons (portfolio and self promotion).

Saturday 10 October

7:30am - 10:30am

This session will take place in Central London (location to be confirmed).

What's in it for you?

First of all, you get to hang out with a bunch of dog-obsessed pet photographers from around the world, as they ooh and ahh over your awesome dog!

Afterwards (no later than December 4, 2026), you will receive a complimentary collection of high-resolution digital images compiled from instructors and students. You can enjoy your images as you wish, from sharing online to printing for your home.

These are typically valued at several thousand dollars but are yours free as our way of saying THANK YOU for taking the time to donate your dog's talent and good looks to us!
