Scheduling

After payment has been made, you'll be taken to a booking page so you can schedule your session. Available dates and times will be shown on the scheduling page. Please make sure your correct time zone is selected when viewing dates and times. If none of the dates and times work, please contact Charlotte to request an alternative option. 

The session must be scheduled within 3 days of payment. The session date must be within 3 months of purchase.

Once the session has been scheduled, you'll receive a confirmation email. Please keep this email as it includes a link to reschedule your session if needed.

The online mentoring session is conducted online using Zoom. By purchasing this service, you verify you have Zoom installed on your computer, a fast internet connection and sufficient data allowance, capable of handling screen sharing and video conferencing.

Session Format

During the the session, a combination of voice call, video call and screen sharing will be utilised depending on the content discussed. 

For image reviews, each image will be viewed individually and constructive criticism offered. Where relevant, photographic and editing techniques will be discussed, depending on your experience level and aims. 

During the session, Charlotte may refer you to additional learning resources, or may recommend you schedule a future mentoring session to delve deeper if required.

Overtime

Towards the end of the allocated time, Charlotte will advise you if your session is likely to run into overtime and incur additional costs. If Charlotte fails to inform you of this, you will not be liable for any extra overtime costs incurred.

After being informed of this, you will be given the option to continue with the session and incur the additional charges, or wrap up the session within a grace period of 10 minutes over the allocated time. If you choose to continue, additional time over one hour will be charged at a rate of USD $249/hr, billed in half hour blocks.

Any additional fees incurred by the session running longer than the allocated time will be invoiced and payable within 2 working days of the completion of the session. 

Image Submission

Images may be submitted to the Charlotte for review. Instructions will be sent for preparing and submitting the images after payment is made.

Image submissions are due at least 3 hours before the day and time of the session.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is permitted, up to a total of three times. Beyond three student-requested reschedules, it is at Charlotte's discretion to choose to cancel the session. If the session is cancelled, the complete fee will be forfeited as a cancellation fee and no refund will be offered, unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Charlotte may also reschedule up to three times, after which time you may request a full refund.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be received 48 hours in advance or the fee will be forfeited as a cancellation fee and no refund will be offered, unless there are extenuating circumstances. If a cancellation is made more than 48 hours before the session, a full refund will be issued for all monies paid. No refunds will be offered if the session is cancelled less than 48 hours before the session day and time.

Charlotte also reserves the right to cancel the session and provide a full refund, with no reason provided, at any stage.

Video Recording

Charlotte will provide a video recording of the session within 48 hours for you to keep indefinitely. Recordings are for your reference only and must not be shared in any way, published or distributed.

Charlotte represents that extreme care is taken with respect to capturing, developing, digital processing, storing, and delivering this video recording. However, in the event that Charlotte fails to comply with the obligations of this contract, for any reason, including but not limited to events outside of her control, she will not be liable for any loss relating to failure to provide this video recording.
